Recertification
Guidelines for Certification Renewal
Each NAPT Professional Credential (certification) has a lifespan of three (3) years. As such, at the end of this period, an accredited individual must complete a recertification process to keep their certification(s) active/renewed. This process includes accumulating a certain amount of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) relative to the level of certification being renewed, submitting the recertification form, and paying the recertification fee.CEUs can be obtained by: maintaining your annual NAPT membership, attending NAPT PDS courses, volunteering in other organizations, or membership in a local, state, or national committee, just to name a few. Use the NAPT Recertification Form to track your progress. Submit the completed form when it is time to renew your certification.
