NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR PUPIL TRANSPORTATION UNVEILS NEW DIGITAL RESOURCE TOOLKIT FOR LOVE THE BUS MONTH

February marks the month-long celebration of Love the Bus, a time to show gratitude towards the dedicated professionals who ensure the safety of students on their journey to and from school. This initiative is a meaningful way to recognize the diverse group of individuals who make the yellow school bus experience possible for students.
 
“Based on my own professional experience, I believe that recognition is a crucial factor to building a stronger team and developing individuals. At its core, that is what Love the Bus month is all about,” says Molly McGee Hewitt, NAPT CEO and Executive Director.  “As the foremost authority on school transportation, we knew it was important for us to provide a trusted resource for members and friends to utilize during Love the Bus celebrations. In an effort to acknowledge the hard work of the unsung heroes behind school transportation, we utilized our national platform this year to bring attention to their efforts.”
 
“Every day, millions of children rely on the yellow bus's transportation teams to safely transport them to and from school. It's an act of love that cannot be overstated,” says Teena Mitchell, NAPT President. “We call upon school district leaders to use our initiatives to create a "lead with love" culture, not only during Love the Bus, but also in the coming months. This presents a wonderful opportunity to bring about a positive change.”
 
This month we will host two webinars which will explore innovative applications for the created materials. Join us on January 18^th for part one and on January 29^th for part two.
