NAPT® Sees New Board Leadership

Rick Grisham, Ed.S., CDPT, Director of Student Transportation Services at Richland School District One (SC), is the new NAPT® President and welcomes three new members to the Board.
Rick Grisham takes reins as NAPT® Board President: Rick Grisham, Ed.S., CDPT, Director of Student Transportation Services at Richland School District One (SC), is the new NAPT® President. In 2019, Grisham was chosen by his peers around the country to serve as NAPT's® President-elect. Grisham served in that capacity for the last two years under, working closely with immediate past President Steve Simmons, former Director of Transportation for Columbus (Ohio) City Schools. Now Grisham will serve as NAPT® President for the next two years.
Teena Mitchell, CDPT, CSNT, Special Needs Transportation Coordinator for the Greenville (SC) County Schools, has been appointed to serve for the next 11 months as Acting President-elect.
Alex M. Spann, CDPT, Transportation Consultant for the State of Tennessee, Department of Education, has been appointed by the NAPT® Board to serve for the next 11 months as its Region 2 representative, filling a vacancy that was created when elected Region 2 Director Teena Mitchell, CDPT, CSNT, was tapped by her peers on the Board to serve as NAPT's Acting President-elect until November of 2022.
Melody Coniglio, CDPT, CSNT, Director of Transportation for the Kenston (OH) Local Schools, received the most votes among the 3 candidates participating in the election for a new NAPT® Region 3 Director.
Kimberly Rentner, Industry Engagement Consultant for Tyler Technologies, ran unopposed and was therefore elected by acclamation for a 3-year term as NAPT's Business Affiliate director, representing the business partners of the organization.
