The Future of NAPT® In-Person Events: Introducing ACTS!® The Road Show

In the last 12 months, NAPT® has launched a variety of new products and services, all created and designed to help you connect, communicate, and collaborate during a time where in-person events were not possible. Your support of these projects has helped us navigate a very difficult year.
 
We also recognize that online events and digital publications are not the same as meeting in-person.
 
We know many of you are really looking forward to getting together in-person this year. That's why we're excited to let you know the NAPT® Board of Directors has decided to launch this Fall a series of issue-focused events called ACTS!® The Road Show while we continue to analyze and rethink the logistics of our traditional annual conference and trade show.  
 
ACTS!® The Road Show will feature in-depth conversations on important issues among a limited number of first-come, first-served registrants. The initial topics of discussion will include:

• Post-pandemic changes in school transportation funding and financing;
• The future of vehicle design, propulsion and telematics;
• Data-driven driver recruitment and retention; 
• Policies, rulings and related legal issues that impact the transportation of students with disabilities; and
• Opportunities and threats posed by alternatives to traditional school transportation. 

The first ACTS!® The Road Show event will be held in Houston, TX on October 18 - 20, 2021. It is being developed collaboratively with the Texas Association for Pupil Transportation. Registration for this event will open soon with full details, including special opportunities for NAPT® Members & Business Partners.
 
We are excited to add these new ACTS!® The Road Show events to our ever-expanding suite of member and vendor offerings and we are looking forward to seeing you in-person soon. We are grateful to the good people in Grand Rapids, MI for giving us the flexibility to reschedule our 2021 event and look forward to having our full-scale annual conference & trade show there in the near future.
