NAPT's Response to Upcoming 'Dora the Explorer' Film

NAPT® is calling upon the filmmakers at Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon to address unsafe scene involving the school bus.
Earlier this month NAPT® was made aware of a scene in the trailer for the film “Dora and the Lost City of Gold" depicting a scene in which Dora is caught in the door of her school bus as it pulls away from her stop. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. In response, we've posted our disappointment on our social media platforms (Facebook & Twitter) and are calling for the filmmakers to add a brief message at the end of the movie about the importance of safely getting on and off a school bus. Please join us in expressing your concern over this scene, and reinforce our industry's dedication to making yellow school buses the safest form of transportation in the U.S.
